Del Webb opened the golf course for play in November of 1983 - the Clubhouse in May of 1985. Del Webb's vision was to provide a unique golfing and social experience with camaraderie for its members. Briarwood has earned the distinction of being one of the friendliest clubs in the Valley and our members have become friends for a lifetime. For our members, Briarwood is their home "away-from home", a place to connect, relax and enjoy life.

The mission of Briarwood Country Club is to provide a quality country club experience through programs and facilities which foster good citizenship in our community and enahance member enjoyment while maintaining a sound fiscal policy.
